I know this was partially answered in a different thread but wanted to get clarity. The top-level free5gc repository has an AGPL license file, but none of the sub-repositories have them so the legal status of that code is ambiguous. If I wanted to fork, say, https://github.com/free5gc/pfcp and make modifications, it does not contain an AGPL file. Can you please add the appropriate license files to each repository so that it is clear as to the legal status of the code? Thank you!
For free5gc stage 2 and after, we’re using Apache-2.0 as our license. And all of the submodule is also using Apache-2.0. We’ll update the package’s license recently.
