because of we just tested the OAI NSA with the gNB,after upgrade the nsa gnb to sa gnb. we found the sa core didn’t trigger sqn resynch, so that authentication procedure failed.
Did any one once test the free5gc in real 5g enviroment with gnb/ue？

i have solved it. for the resync process,it need the random_str in early authInfoResult. so add one item in the ausfUeContext. use it to generate the ms-sqn together with the auts and update the udm-sqn for next vectors. Now ,i have finished the real 5G UE-----Gnb -----Free5GC register process. and trouble shooting on one UP problem,cause of no pdu session request triggered from ue.
Do you have working use case for NSA gNB to work both with free5gc and existing 4g public network?
In my test,oai can support nsa gNB after upgrade. for free5gc,it support commercial gNB,however the UE/CPE compatibility is a question now.if the cpe/ue send the second session setup simultaneously,5gc will hang. In the testing ,we select one vendor’s gNb, 5gc need do some enhancement to realize the ip session call.
5gc resyn process is missing,so you need to add it.
The commercial gnb shall support the dual mode nsa/sa.
