Does fre5gc support dhcpv4 and ‘UE requests to obtain the IPv4 address after the PDU Session Establishment’
Details:
The UE may indicate that it requests to obtain the IPv4 address after the PDU Session Establishment procedure by DHCPv4. That is, when the 5GC network supports DHCPv4 and allows that, it does not provide the IPv4 address for the UE as part of the PDU Session Establishment procedure. The network (i.e. free5gc UPF) may respond to the UE by setting the allocated IPv4 Address to 0.0.0.0. After the PDU Session Establishment procedure is completed, the UE uses the connectivity with the 5GC and initiates the IPv4 address allocation on its own using DHCPv4 (between the UE and the i.e. enterprise’s network on the other side of N6 interface).
