Hello everyone,

I’m new to free5gc and the 5g ecosystem. I’ve read the article https://free5gc.org/blog/20230906/0905-2023blog
Is there a way to run free5gc on OSM ? since I have a mid-range laptop, I can’t run nephio.
How to transform the 5gc components to NFVD, NSD and NST compatibles with OSM ?

Hi,

There is no current work available on running free5gc on OSM, but I found some theses related to this topic:

  1. Validation and Benchmarking of CNFs in OSM for pure Cloud Native applications in 5G and beyond
  2. Kubernetes-Based Network Functions Orchestration for 5G Core Networks with Open Source MANO
    Maybe you could refer to them.
