Hi. I am currently testing with free5gc v3.4.2 and would like to verify the system with the CHF functionality turned off. Is it possible to conduct tests where the UE can attach and establish U-Plane communication while disabling the communication from the SMF to the CHF? If so, could you please provide the method to achieve this?

Hi, you can try enabling offline charging when subscribing to the UE. This way, the CHF doesn’t need to be started.
