Maximum throughput for the free5gc UPF

What is the maximum throughput achieved / tested with the free5gc UPF (on a single CPU core)? Also, can you please also share / provide the configuration of the server used for the testing.

We have tested the UPF performance on physical hosts and use iperf3 to measure the performance and got the performance:
UL: 800Mb/s
DL: 800Mb/s

Following is the information about devices :

  1. UE(UERANSIM v3.1.0 and as iperf3 client):
  • host->LG Gram
  • system->Ubuntu 18.04
  • Interface->N2/N3: Uptech IE NET135 (1Gb)
  1. Core Network(free5GC v3.0.5):
  • host->Fujitsu U9311
  • system->Ubuntu 20.04
  • Interface->N2/N3: Uptech IE NET135 (1Gb)、N6: Uptech IE NET139 (1Gb)
  1. DN (as iperf3 server):
  • host->Normal Desktop
  • system->CentOS 7

You can change anything like making core network run on a single CPU core to test the performance and share on this forum.
