I am conducting tests with the Quectel RM520N-GL UE, using the USRP B210 + OAI 5G + Free5GC. However, during authentication in the Core, I am receiving “Handle UEContextReleaseComplete” instead of the PDU Session Setup being sent.
With the core from another developer, I successfully established the PDU. That said, is there any additional configuration to be inserted for the PDU establishment with the UE?

I have conducted tests using USRP B210, OAI 5G, and free5GC. I did not encounter this issue with other User Equipment (UE). I suspect it may be due to the fact that Quectel RM520N-GL is designed based on the 3GPP Release 16 specification, while free5GC currently supports Release 15. In the future, we plan to upgrade to Release 17.
