I am using free5gc v3.4.2.
When changing the Downlink AMBR (Uplink AMBR) from 5Mbps to 10Mbps via the web console during u-plane data transmission, the change is reflected in the DB but not in the session’s restrictions.
When I changed the Downlink AMBR (Uplink AMBR) via the web console during data transmission, the UPF data transfer rate remained at 5Mbps.
Even when transitioning from CM-IDLE to CONNECT state, the data transfer rate stayed at 5Mbps and did not change to 10Mbps.
Only after detaching and reattaching the UE did the data transfer rate change to 10Mbps. Is this behavior as designed?
