in the afternoon,we connect one gNB to the free5gc. However we find that the the core didn’t do well on the resynch process.
Core send authentication req to UE,UE response with Synch Failure with AUTS.however the core only do the second new authentication req.with the same sqn.butregister.pcap (1.3 KB) , the core shall update the sqn base on the sqnMs. after the second authentication.req get failure response. core reject the authentication.

Hi, do you use the real phone or simulator? I have the same problem with you, but I’m using the real phone, and in amf, in 2nd auth request update the SQN, but phone still give the 2nd sync failure. can you share the USIM configuration?
