How can we select UPF for the PDU session based on which gnb the UE connects to?
we tried using links in SMF configuration by linking certain gNbs to certain UPFs but it doesn’t get taken into consideration, please tell me if there is any way to do that, or if anyone can guide me to modify the source code of the SMF and the AMF to achieve it it will be much appreciated. My project is very urgent if someone can help soon it will be much appreciated.
Thank you for your question. Currently, free5GC does not implement the functionality to select the corresponding UPF based on the gNB. Additionally, we have yet to see any specifications defining this feature. If you have received such information, please share it with us.
