NGAP ASN libraries

Dear Free 5GC Team,

From earlier post 3GPP NGAP specification is understood. (NGAP specification version)

I would like to know,
i) The ASN libraries used for generating NGAP source files.
ii) Whether Free5GC uses open source or licensed ASN libraries?
iii) Whether the ASN library used in Free5GC supports all ASN data types, because in code seen like it supports only some ASN data types.

It would be of great help.

I may not have a response to your question, but I have another one. What compiler are you using to compile ASN files? and is it compatible with the ASN files from the 3GPP standard ?

We use a proprietary ASN generator for generate NGAP source files, and it is not the opensource.
The ASN generator doesn’t support all ASN data types, but supports the data types R15.3 used.
